I had an ovarian cyst over the summer. I didn’t even know it was there until it torsioned (the fallopian tube got all twisted up). It hurt really bad, like the worst cramps I’ve ever felt – I actually threw up from the pain a few times, no medicine helped. I finally went to the ER after three days (stupid I know, but I was all alone and scared to go) and had to have emergency surgery to remove the tube
Probably the worst case scenario.
When I first got my mirena IUD, it caused me to get ovarian cysts. It lasted for about 3 or 4 months. It was awful. It was the worst side and back pain Ive ever felt. If I laid on one side, I felt fine, but once I rolled over or got up, the pain instantly came back. I actually never had to have it removed. I’m pretty sure it popped, because one day it hurt, and then suddenly, all the pain was gone. I haven’t had one since.
