Weird Symptoms–Ovarian Cyst or Pregnancy?

Ok, so I have already set up an appointment with my doctor next week, but was hoping somebody else maybe had some answers to help ease the stress..

Symptoms:
Headaches (uncommon for me)
Absence of a period (however i am on birth control which causes me to have irregular periods)
Sore breasts
Soreness/Achy pain in lower back
Cramping in lower abdomen
Bloating
Fatigue
Nausea
Dizziness
Weakness
Low blood pressure
Etc..

So these are some symptoms I have been experiencing the past few weeks. I don’t have all these symptoms everyday, but these are symptoms I have been noticing at least several times in the last few weeks.

Having gone through both (had a dermoid cyst and several fibroid cysts and being pregnant now) I can tell you that it could be either or neither. It could also be a kidney or bladder infection.

Hopefully you have a good doctor who will just order an ultrasound to confirm one way or another. It took me 3 years to convince my GYN to do an ultrasound when I was having that kind of pain and irregular periods. Turns out I had a softball-sized cyst growing in my left ovary that had to be removed via surgery–I survived, and was still fertile. Just request the ultrasound to be sure.

Now that I’m pregnant, I can relate to all those symptoms so that’s also a possibility. If you’re feeling those symptoms now though, you should be able to take a home pregnancy test and see if that’s what’s going on. If it’s negative, then there’s still the chance of an ectopic pregnancy that will have to be confirmed/debunked by ultrasound.

Best wishes for a good diagnosis.

ovarian cyst would be one sided pelvic pain in your ovary area, pain or discomfort during urination or movement, also discomfort in intercourse.

seems like those could be attributed to pg symptoms. Get a test from the .99 cent store, i took three and they were all accurate!
