Abnormal Ovarian Cyst REVEALED – All YOU Want to Know

September 23rd, 2011 9 comments

www.ovariancystmiracle.com Abnormal ovarian cysts like Dermoid cyst, Endometrioma cyst, Adenoma are different from functional cysts. The cysts occur due to imbalance in the female hormones (Progesterone and Oestrogen) along with several other contributing factors for the formation of these growths. It can however be said that these cysts are a result of abnormal cell growths that seldom creates any problem, and that, they cannot be termed as cancerous. In very rare cases, malignant dermoid cysts are found to develop into Squamous Cell Carcinoma in adults. In younger children, it often leads to ‘Endometrial Sinus Tumor’. Endometrial implants may take various shape, size and colour. In certain cases, they may grow enormous in size. There can be tiny patches of endometrial tissues that make up the inner layer of the uterine wall. They can bleed and shed off and become transplanted, growing and enlarging within the ovaries. As blood continues to build up over months and even years, the stale blood takes a chocolate brown colour and hence these cysts are frequently also known as “Chocolate Cysts”. The adenoma cyst develops and grows from the cells on the outer periphery of the ovaries, and they can become very large in size. Mucinous cyst adenomas for instance, are sometimes found in the form of enormous tumours that weigh as much as 328 lbs or 149 kg. However, these cysts usually occur at a young age, but they keep on growing as they create no physical problem for their hosts

My Wife Who Is 37 Has Similar Symptoms Ovarian Cancer, What Else Could It Be?

September 5th, 2011 1 comment

Pain in lower back and pelvic area, bloating and frequent urinating are her symptoms. It started about 3 weeks ago with her back and we have progressed further with the other symptoms. She has an ultrasound/blood work scheduled for today. I was sure it wasn’t anything serious as I have had back issues before and at first she mimicked my pain symptoms. Lately though they have grown and at her appt with her doctor yesterday he told her that although it could be anything, it was symptoms for ovarian cancer. Which is why the testing today. I have been looking all over the web and I can’t find any other causes which point to her symptoms. Infections usually have other symptoms that show up, back pain can radiate but doesn’t radiate to the pelvic area. I’m wondering if anyone knows of other issues that have the symptoms that my wife has.

13 With 2 Large Ovarian Cysts, Extremely Painful?

August 30th, 2011 4 comments

I’m a 13 year old girl, and I discovered last month I had a six-inch cyst on my left ovary. Four days ago, I started having pain so extreme, I was in convulsions, vomited multiple times, and had to be rushed to the emergency room. They took a CT and an ultrasound, and determined I have 2 cysts, one on each ovary, of the same size. I have been at home, taking powerful pain meds, and I recently stopped yesterday. I had some pain, but it wasnt extreme. Today, I was fine till about four, and then I started having pain, and I vomited again. I could use some treatment options where I don’t have to inject myself with morphine every 8 hours, and go to school, or stay home, and act positively high. Also, I need some more info on what to expect from these. The doctor isn’t considering surgery, and if I do, they said that both ovaries would have to be removed, and I do not want that!
I have had my period since I was 11, and it’s fairly regular, if it helps.
