Cancer Awareness Video – Campaign

Hope you guys enjoy watching this video. Thank you once again to everyone who participated in making a photo for this campaign! :) It really means a LOT to me. Cancer effected my family in many ways. Just know that you’re not alone, I know what it’s like to lose someone to cancer. A lot of people do. It’s a tragic loss, but unfortunately… it’s life. Myriad Employees Bring JUST ASK! to Life as They Race for the Cure

On May 8, 2010, which was Mother’s Day weekend, Myriad employees, along with their families and friends, participated in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Salt Lake City, Utah. With JUST ASK! t-shirts blazing, they shared their support, along with their message that we should all just ask our friends, family and doctors if there is a personal and/or family history of breast or ovarian cancer to help raise awareness for hereditary breast and ovarian cancer (HBOC) syndrome.

Criss Angel Speaks at Owareness (Sept. 25, 2010) – Ovarian Cancer Awareness Rally

Las Vegas magician Criss Angel, a special guest of the Women’s Cancer Center of Nevada, spoke at the first ever Owareness rally to raise awareness for ovarian cancer on Sept. 25, 2010. Angel became involved in cancer outreach after losing his father to cancer. He told the Owareness crowd that his father’s battle with the disease inspires his own personal belief that our minds influence our bodies’ response to illness. After his speech, he donated k to the Women’s Cancer Center Foundation for Research.
