Ruptured Ovarian Cyst and Pain.?
My girlfriend had a "ruptured ovarian cyst" 3 days ago. She was treated with antibiotics and sent home. Its been two days and her pain is getting worse. She is to scared to go back to the hospital and im frustrated and worried sick about her. Can someone who has experianced this or a medical professional PLEASE advise on what to do about this. Thank You !!!!
I never had a ruptered ovarian cyst..but I did suffer with dermoid cysts on my ovaries for years. The pain was worse than child birth!!! I had to go to 2 ERs and 4 ob/gyns before anyone figured out what the problem was. I was mis-diagnosed, told it was all in my head, or just given a prescription for pain meds. It took over 3 years but I didn’t give up and found a dr. that diagnosed me and I went in for surgery a week later. So what I’m trying to say is that if she thinks there is still a problem then she needs to keep going back…go to a different hospital or see a different doctor, but don’t suffer with pain for years. You will find someone who listens and treats it.
