Possible Yeast Infection and Ovarian Pain? What Is This?
I’ve got what I think is a yeast infection. I’ve never had one before but I’m sore and itchy and I’ve got some discharge. I only really noticed and started to pay attention about … two days ago, but I looked up the symptoms and I’m pretty sure that’s what it is. Then today I noticed a pain around what I can only imagine are my ovaries when I press even lightly on the area. These are my only symptoms, I’m not naseaous and I don’t have back pain or anything like that. I’m nearly 20 years old. I had an irregular period last month and I’m expecting my period this month any time now. It could have been as early as saturday(12th) but it won’t officially be late until sun20th. I am sexually active, not on bc or any other types of medicine, we use condoms most of the time. If I have a cyst, BOTH ovaries wouldn’t hurt at the same time, would they? (this is not a general pain, it’s definitly 2 separate areas) I know I need to see a doctor but does anyone have any ideas before i go?
Also, I’m continuously wet down there. It’s irritating! I haven’t had sex since I noticed it.
I did some more looking and I guess it isn’t my ovaries after all. Turns out there are some lymph nodes down there than can swell if there is an infection in the area. Who knew! lol At least I’m less worried now.
