Pain, Possibly Ovarian Area?
I have been experiencing sharp pricks of pain in the area where I believe my ovaries are located (obviously I can’t see them, but have basic knowledge of anatomy). It is never both sides at the same time, but each side has hurt. It usually occurs about every few minutes for a day or two, but does not correlate with my cycle. It feels like someone in stabbing me for about 3 seconds then is gone for a few minutes. I will be asking my dr at my next visit, but just wanted to see if this was something common.

This pain that you are experiencing can be common for some women when their body is ovulating (the process of when the body gets ready for the next period), but this is an example only.
This pain that some women get is called mitzelschmertz.
