Ovarian Cyst Hemorrhagic
Has anyone had an ovarian cyst drained vaginally?
Has anyone had hemorrhagic corpus luteum ovarian cyst drained vaginally? If so, can you describe how it's done, how much pain if you anestisia and why the doctor chose to drain instead of waiting for disappear by itself?
I had a cyst drainage – I'm not sure the technical name for it. I was put under general anesthesia and manual vacuum cyst with a needle. It is totally painless, took about an hour and I was back to work the next day. We waited a month to be outside while I was on Lupron (deletion) phase of an IVF cycle. Have not hesitate at all during this period. We do not want to delay the IVF cycle more, and I could not stay in the elimination of most drugs without compromising the cycle time, then went to the needle.
