Ovarian Cyst Filled With Blood

Do women and girls suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome?

What is the best way to quit smoking? What? What are the best pills? I have 16 years and I know for a year in August I pcos .. What is polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) PCOS is a health problem that may affect a woman's menstrual cycle, fertility, hormones, insulin production, heart, blood vessels, and appearance. PCOS women have the following characteristics: high levels of male hormones, called androgens also an irregular menstrual cycle or not may or may not be many small cysts in the ovaries. Cysts are fluid-filled sacs. PCOS is the most common reproductive problem Hormones Women of childbearing age. By taking metformin im helping a lot ive lost weight before taking this day .. a Twis Please Anser XxX

Looks like you're on the right track. In combination with metformin diet low carb and exercise is what to do. SOP Some good information and links for you. Good luck. I recommend seeing a reproductive endocrinologist. They are generally more familiar with the syndrome and treatment. Unfortunately, many doctors do not know the proper treatment. The underlying cause of this syndrome is insulin resistance (IR). The best treatment for PCOS is an insulin sensitizing drug such as metformin (1500-2550mg per day) associated with a diet low in carbohydrates and exercise. There are several important things to know: 1. Many women "pass" the test IR, but still a positive response to metformin. No one know why .. exactlly my thinking is that the test is not a foolproof method for detecting the IR. 2. Must be a high enough dose metformin. I've heard women complain that their bodies start to work, even when treated with metformin for some time. Some doctors are reluctant to 1500mg dose past … but some of us, more is needed. I do not respond to what my dose is around 2000 mg per day. 3. This process may take a few months in the correct dose, before your body is regulated. 4. It is important to treat your PCOS even if you are not trying to get pregnant. There is an increased risk for many things (high blood pressure, blood clots, the diabetes and many other things) when they have the syndrome, but if treated properly, these risks are reduced. When the PCOS is treated properly, all the symptoms can not disappear, but they should improve some. It will also be much easier to lose weight (and keep). Our bodies work against us when trying to lose weight on our own, making it almost impossible to lose weight. There are tons books on PCOS and diet. There are two I recommend.
