My Gyno Suspects That I Have Endemetrosis or Ovarian Cancer, Im Getting New Symptoms Which Dont Seem Connected?
I am getting extremely worried. For months now i have had fainting spells which get more and more frequent. I have visited my hospital but they said there is nothing wrong with me – after only taking blood pressure and a urine sample (i think they suspected i had taken drugs because i am 18 and generally healthy before hand).
I am now constantly dizzy, whilst standing up or laying down. I faint when i stand up, have double vision and i even hear loud pitch sounds, ringing, distant voices and distant music.
Last night i was fainting on and off for half an hour, my boyfriend said my head was twitching almost as though i was having a seizure.
I also have a throbbing pressure headache which feels as though its right in the center of my brain as well as constant nausea and slight sensitivity to light, i also have not slept properly in 4 days, waking up at around 3am every night and not being able to sleep again.
These symptoms have been present for around a month, whilst my endo/cancer symptoms of abdominal pain etc etc have been around for at least 6 months yet it is the dizziness and nausea which are gradually getting much worse.
Any connection to endo or cancer or should i be re-visiting my doctor?
You could have various things going on, some related to the possible cancer, some not. The fainting spells, seizures, dizziness, and ringing/noise in the ears ALL sound neurological IMO. This could be LIFE THREATENING. You could have a brain tumor or a heart issue, for example. GO TO A DOCTOR. NOW. Your health is not something to GUESS about! Please, take someone who can explain what you have been going through (in case you pass out) and GO! Update us when you can! Sending strength and hope!
I don’t know where you are in the work up for your symptoms, or what you have had done, but you do need a head to toe workup, asap. If it is moving too slowly, see either an internist or head off to a large university based teaching hospital & see a GYN & an internist there. Any addition of any Sx warrants a re-visit.
Try visiting an ENT, neurologist, or gynecologist. It could be an inner ear disorder – seems you have most of the symptoms of vertigo or ear tumor, brain tumor or other type of brain malfunction, or a hormonal imbalance. At the least, I would suspect the docs would check your hormone levels…
