More Frequent Periods After Ovary Removal?
I had an ovarian tumor removed about 2 months ago (along with my left ovary and fallopian tube) and I have had 3 periods so far. Each was about 2 weeks apart and I am feeling another coming on soon. Have any of you heard about this or experienced it? I am writing it off as my hormones trying to compensate after losing an ovary. Nothing else is wrong or bothering me so I haven’t seen a doctor yet.
I would contact your doctor and explain your concerns. Just because you aren’t not experiencing any symptoms does not mean there isn’t a problem. I encourage you to see your doctor right away. Follow-up after surgery is very important. I wish you good luck and good health.
