the very first question i have for you is – could you be pregnant? that means, did you have sex? protected or not…that is the first reason for missing a period – no questions about it. so i would go get a pregnancy test first.

if that is a definite no (ie. you did not have sex or the pregnancy test was negative TWICE), i’d go see a doctor. have them check your ovarian cysts, etc. some girls’ periods skip around when they first start having periods but then normalize. also, get checked for endometriosis.

yes and no. cyst interfere with achieving the proper hormone levels to be regular. i had them when i was younger, teens to early 20s, and i was irregular and missed periods for months at a time. one year, i had my period twice!! i would recommend you see a doctour.

Anytime you don’t have your period, it could be serious. Do you take birth control pills. Seeing that you already know you have them, what does your doctor say. I had ovarian cysts and fibroids before menopause and I had a tremendous amount of bleeding. Everyone is different.
