How Long After Ovarian Cyst Removal Did It Take You to Get Pregnant?
I was just wondering what other people’s experience’s were. I have been having a hard time getting pregnant and I am hoping that since they removed my cyst maybe I will have better luck.
3 months.
I had a cyst removed in Aug. 2002. (OK, they took the whole ovary, too, since the cyst had completely destroyed it.) This was followed by a treatment for endometriosis which put me through menopause for a year. During that year, I left my husband.
I got pregnant literally the first time I had sex after that.
Actually… according to the doctors (ALL of them), I got pregnant BEFORE I had sex, by about 3 weeks. (It tooks us a little while to work up to the "main event". lol)
I’d like to point out that I’d been trying unsuccessfully to get pregnant for several years before the surgery. So, yeah, my fertility improved. =D
