How Do You Know if Your Ovarian Cancer Has Come Back?

I’m asking this for my Mother-in-law. Thanks!

Doubtful that it would be able to come back as the usual course of treatment is Chemotherapy,Radiation and then Hysterectomy(including the ovaries).
Been there, done that, am a survivor 17 years after the fact.

She should be having regular CT in order to check for this. You havn’t really given anyone enough information. It is impossible to speculate without knowing the stage of her original disease, how it was treated, and how long ago. I can tell you this . . if she has any doubts whatsoever she should be calling her oncologist immediately. Cancer is nothing to second guess. She needs to see her doctor for a complete examination.

There is no complete cure for cancer (there is treatment for the individual that can lead to ‘cure), so it is possible for a reoccurence to happen at any time.
