    every women gets them atleast once in her life. They usually present no symtoms and you may not even know you have them and they gradulally get smaller adn go away. They are a fluid filled sac in or on you ovary and they are caused from ovulation which is the releasing of the egg. If you are having problems such as mestrual irrgularities nasuea vomity and or abdominal pain contact you docotr. they will perform a songogram to check it and depending on the size shape you age and symptoms will determine hte docotors actions. Uusally the doctor will check it after 1 to 3 months to make sure its getting smaller. sometimes surgery is required and so may bith control pills to prevent ovulation and the formation of a ovarian cyst.     everyone gets them, but some more severe then others. some people never notice them but some people have cysts that burst and it feels like an appendicitis. if it is that severe, the best way of preventing them is taking the pill
