How Can a Woman Be Tested for Ovarian or Uterine Cancer?

I’m getting really scared I might have either of these diseases! I don’t want to lose my fertility!

The easiest way to get tested is by blood tests. A CA-125 will test for Ovarian Cancer and a Pap Smear should pick up any signs for Uterine Cancer.

Don’t be scared. The chances of you loosing fertility are very rare. I have Ovarian Cancer (stage 2) and the only reason I lost my fertility is because of too much chemo and radiation. The only way you can loose your fertility is if you have both ovaries removed or have more than two doses of chemo and radiation.

Is there any reason why you are worried about having cancer? Family History, Symptoms, etc?
