I want to tell you a quick story about ovarian cancer. EVERY woman is at risk for this deadly disease, regardless of age, regardless of family history, and regardless of whether she still has ovaries in her body. (It is then called Primary Peritoneal Cancer.)

hyesterectomy is removal of the uterus, some includes ovaries. so i guess there is no way u can get cancer if they totally remove your ovaries.

If you don’t have ovaries, you cant get ovarian cancer. the cancer cells are specific to the system. A Total Hyst. is removal of the cervix, uterus and ovaries along with the tubes. The best information is from the American Cancer Society web site.
