Can Intercourse Lead to an Ovarian Cyst?
The doctors found that I have an ovarian cyst, and I’m curious to find out if having intercourse can cause them? I started having intercourse with someone again after a long time of not, and all of a sudden I experience that problem.
I know it’s kind of a silly question, I’ve done some research on them, and nowhere does it say that intercourse has anything to do with it, but I’m still curious.
No it can’t. Everyone gets them at some point. They aren’t always painful and can go away on their own. They can also be very painful and require surgery to remove them. Either way, they are not caused by sex.
