Becky Teter’s Ovarian Cancer Treatment at Baylor Dallas
For Becky Teter, life is all about attitude. When she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, she brought a purple ribbon to tie around her chemotherapy pole. She told the nurses at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas it was because chemo was the gift that would keep her alive. More than six years later, she is still fighting and has become an integral part of the Ovarian Cancer Support Group at Baylor Dallas. She even helped compile stories of hope and survival in two books called “The Torch.” “Baylor treats the whole patient, not just the disease,” she said. “I feel blessed and highly favored to be treated there.” To learn more about ovarian cancer and the treatment and support programs at Baylor Dallas, visit bit.ly
I loved Becky’s story. I too am a surviving ovarian cancer survivor for the past 3 years and she is so right about attitude being 99% of fighting this disease. I was diagnosed with stage IV. Thanks for getting that message out there Becky.
