7+ years and cancer free. Specially stage III+. I have been having a hard time finding any.
Do you know of any e-group?

Congratulations on surviving ovarian cancer. I have also survived ovarian cancer too but I have had a relapse. My first relapse was 9 months after I finished 1 1/2 years of chemo so the second time I opted for the IV and IP chemo for another 6 months.

Anyways, here are some sites that have support groups for women:

I hope this is what you were looking for.

I do not know of any group, but I just want to say congratulations :) Both of my grandmothers have had it, and both are survivors that now lead strong healthy lives.

My sister, Dianne survived stage IV ovarian cancer. She had a stupid Dr who told her it was her gall bladder. She went to Beth Israel hospital in Boston. She was so round around her abdomen that when they cut her, fluid flowed out of her. She had tumors the size of grapefruits on each ovary. After a complete hysterectomy, that was after they cut her her from the sternum to her pelvis and had 5 doctors working on her. They discovered cancer in her gall bladder, spleen, the lower part of her stomach and part of her intestine. Her outcome was not good, but these doctors also scraped all her organs in case there were cancer cells on them. She survived and her Dr told her she was a medical miracle. She gave all the credit to God. Well deserved. Her doctors agreed because they have never seen that much cancer in a person and lived. It’s been 5 yrs now. She also had breast cancer,,and brian cancer twice. Miracle, oh yes. Plus that hospital has the best doctors anyone could have. Now she is in a medial issue. You don’t hear that a lot, She goes to a group in our local hospital and everyone supports each other and tells their stories. All are baffled at hers. So am I. I guess God’s not ready for her yet, I am so proud of her and all the bad things she’s endured and doesn’t say "poor me" She counts her blessings every day. We all do. She’s a marve; to us. Hope you never experiences that. God bless you always.
