If this is PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) it is often associated with obesity or overweight. This means weight loss can help. The symptoms roughly resemble that of type II diabetes, so a diabetic-centered diet can help to keep symptoms in check. This is easier said than done, however. It will require a tremendous amount of discipline, planning and effort to stay current with the diet.
Get your physician to give you a referral to a dietitian who specializes in or has familiarity with the syndrome. I HIGHLY recommend that you don’t go about doing this "by yourself." There is a lot of misinformation on the internet about "special diets" for PCOS that are mostly smoke and mirrors.
Keep in mind, however, that the nutrition therapy will only go so far. You may need to consider a medical intervention in addition if you don’t see progress after some time.
there’s nothing like that…don’t worry about them…most of them go away and there’s not very harmfull in most cases…mine went away in a month after being on the pill
The only remedy I know of is birth control. I had cysts when I was 17, did birth control and didn’t have problems until recently. Turns out 3 years later, I have them again …. gl on finding a way
