14 DPO High BBT, No Preg Symptoms, No AF- Could It Be Ovarian Cysts?

I would like to know from women who have actually had ovarian cysts-what symptoms have you had? do BBT temps stay elevated? I have been having some painful nipple conditions (I never had them before as I do not take any caffeine whatsoever) and someone said that it could be an ovarian cysts. I have had 14 days of elevated BBT (will test only after 16-18 days). Other than this there are simply no other problems, no symptoms or indications of AF/pregnancy!! I did do an ultrasound 3 months ago which did not show any indications of cysts.
I am going to my doctor next week, but can’t get this ovarian cysts out of my head! Women who have had such cysts – what are the symptoms, indications, etc?
Thank you so much for your answers.
Super thanks to Carly- you have put my mind at ease! I really have no pain at all. I am really not obsessing abt the symptoms just waiting it out. Thanks everyone for answering.
I did test yesterday and it was a BFN! But still no AF!!!! WTF???!!!

I work at the hospital and the typical symptom for ovarian cysts is pain. If none were seen 3 months ago, the odds that they would have grown enough to affect you in such a short amount of time are slim to none. Are you having any pain? I have done so much research on early pregnancy symptoms but what it really comes down to is that really there is no way to tell. Everyone’s symptoms are different and many have none at all. If you are 14 dpo and still have elevated temps I would say this month might be looking pretty good for you. When is AF due? I would test soon and don’t get too worked up about the ovarian cyst thing. Many ovarian cysts are tiny and don’t cause any problems. I don’t think that is what you have to worry about. Best of luck to you.

Well, I don’t know the symptoms of cysts, etc. . . but personally it sounds like you are pregnant to me dear! :)

I had that when I was pregnant with my son and sure enough I was. I didn’t get a positive till I was 9 weeks pregnant! *winks*

I had a cyst and never knew that it was there until I went for a checkup. I don’t think you’d feel anything like you’re describing, which I suspect is actually pregnancy. Many women get nipple pain or sensitivity as their first symptom, esp. if they’ve never had it before. Best of luck for a BFP if your temps are still up in a few days!
